In order to get your ID verified, so other members know you're an authentic amateur content poster, you need to follow these guidelines:

1. Handwrite (i) "Tango Media" and (ii) your member name on a piece of paper or on your body - and take a pic and/or video of yourself displaying this sign.
2. Submit your pics/videos on our Pic Upload or Video Upload pages and select the appropriate "VerifyMyID" category or categories along with your usual category requests. This flags your content as a "verification request" that will prompt a review by our moderators
3. Do not write Tango Media "digitally" and then add it to a pre-existing photo or video. This proves nothing, unfortunately.
4. Your sign must say "Tango Media". Do not include a specific website address or website reference. You can use the initials "T M" though, if you don't have the space for the full name.
5. If you fail to include your member name others can steal your content, repost your "verification" pic under a new member name they create, and actually make themselves look legitimate.
6. If you're submitting pics only, you must submit at least 2 pics of yourself displaying your sign from 2 different angles.
7. Your "Verification" pics/videos must be representative of and consistent with your other uploaded content. If you are a "couple", both parties must be incorporated in any "verification" pics/videos submitted for consideration.
8. If there is any doubt or question about the nature of your pics/video, we will reject your ID Verification request.
9. We reserve the right to request "anything" we feel is necessary and appropriate to authenticate your id, including specific requests such as "place your left index finger on the tip of your nose while holding your sign in your right hand". This will only be necessary if your original submissions are not clear or raise red flags in some way. If you are offended by our need to uphold high standards in vetting your id, then we'll assume you're a faker. Honest people have no reason to hide or prevaricate and will honor and respect all requests in the spirit in which they are intended: To uphold the integrity of our community and not as a personal affront to their trustworthiness.
